James "Jimmy" Brown, 79, of Hot Springs, Died April 25, 2013 at Lakewood Convalescent Home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 19, 1933 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Thomas and Elizabeth Brown.

Jimmy is preceded in death by one son-in-law, Rick Cain, five brothers and two sisters.

Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Terry Brown, his daughters Jamie Wagner (Ken) and Sherry Canten (Geoff) of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Nicholas Cain (Deidra) of Hot Springs and Zachary Cain (Brett) of Winston-Salem, NC; two great-grandchildren, Ella Cain and Leighton Cain; three brothers, Jerry Brown of Hot Springs, Dewey Brown of Mt. Ida, and Sonny Brown of Little Rock.

Jimmy was a dedicated and loving husband, father, pawpa, brother, and friend, always putting God and family first. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Jimmy was the retired owner and operator of Jimmy's Body Shop. He was a member of Centerfork Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at Gross Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be at Crestview Cemetery. The visitation will be Sunday from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Derry Parker, Bob Stuart, Don White, Sonny Dunn, Jeff Carpenter, and Sam Mullins.

Honorary pallbearers are Salena Karr, Arkansas Hospice, Staff of Lakewood Convalescent Home and The Caring Place.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Caring Place, 101 Quapaw Ave., Hot Springs, AR 71901.
