Garland County,
Arkansas

July 22, 1950 - May 18, 2021

Larry Wayne Natt Sr. “Big Larry” passed away from this life on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021. His legacy began July, 22, 1950 to Lonnie B Natt Sr. and Nancy Natt in Stamps, AR. They moved to Hot Springs when Larry was 2 months old.

Larry attended Langston High School “Home of the Bulldogs” and graduated in the last class of 1968. He attended UAPB where he graduated in 1972, Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics.

After college, Larry relocated to Flint, Michigan where he worked as a Math Teacher and a Foreman for GMC. He moved back to Arkansas and worked at Embassy Suites and a Math Teacher at Ouachita Job Corps until they closed down.

Larry loved cars, good music, and money. He enjoyed riding around and taking trips with his friends. He was one of the most intelligent and educated men you would ever meet. He took pride in mentoring and helping anyone who would be willing to listen. He had a rare gift to make you feel like you could conquer the world with words. He was a firm believer in education, often called a mathematical genius, because he had a way with numbers. He had a big impact on the youth by tutoring, starting the Nikki Natt Scholarship Fund, and giving life advice. But his biggest accomplishment was being a father. Any conversation that you had with him you could guarantee that one of his children will come up. Larry Natt was well-respected in the Hot Springs Community and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents.

His memories will be cherished by four children; Nikki Natt, Larry Natt, Lawayne Natt, and Tarryl Carter; two stepsons Jeremy Burkes, Antwon Burns; his brother Lonnie Natt Jr; seven grandchildren, Africkah Carter, LaShaunti Natt, Destiny Natt, Tarryl Carter Jr, Aziyah Natt, Zaiden Coleman, and Nylah Natt; niece Tequira Natt; nephew Courtney Lemons; four cousins, Toni Natt Smith, Ella Mary Jackson of Los Angeles, CA, and Alice Faye Edson of Flint, MI, Bernadette Natt; and a host of friends and family.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service for Larry at 11:00am, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Visitor's Chapel Church in Hot Springs. A visitation will be held at the church that morning from 10:00-11:00am. His earthly body will be laid to rest at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs. Masks are required inside of the church.
