Leonard Noel Hunter, 84, of Alma, died August 14, 2010 in Van Buren.

He was a retired employee of Roselawn Cemetery, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by one son, Leon Hunter of Alma; two sisters, Alvern McDonald of Van Buren and Sue Tuck of Alma; one brother, Alvin Hunter of Fort Smith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Hunter and grandson Leon Hunter, Jr.

Graveside service was Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Mount McCurry Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Johnny and Ricky Hunter, Skeeter Johnson, Darrell Bennett, Michael Fisher, and Randy Willhite.

Rev. Wanda Oleta Hunter of Muldrow, Oklahoma, died Monday, 07-27-2009. She was 68 years old. Ms. Hunter was a member of Old Country Church. She was the daughter of the late Hilliard and Dollie Williams.

Ms. Hunter was preceded in death by her parents; a baby boy: Steve Allen Winters; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband: Leonard Hunter; a daughter: Wanda O. Crossno; five sons: Donald Winters, Jimmie Winters, Eddie Winters, Roland Winters, and Jr. Winters, all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a step-son: Leon Hunter, of Van Buren, Arkansas; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a few great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of good friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, 07-31-2009, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Rev. Carl Williams, officiated the services. She was laid to rest at Mount McCurry Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Junior Winters, Billy Arnold, Jack King, Robert Johnson, J.P. Winters and John Crossno.
Honorary pallbearers were: Dean Williams, Leonard Williams and Willie Winters.
