Levon H. “Lee” Hartmann, 86, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully at home on September 25, 2013. He was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota to Henry and Lena (Koehne) Hartmann. In 1944, Lee graduated from South High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended many class reunions there. He was a member of Park Place Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving his party barge on Lake Hamilton. Lee is predeceased by his parents and step-mother, Hannah Hartmann. Loving survivors include his wife of 43 years, Margaret Ann Hartmann; sons, Steven L. Hartmann, Michael J. Hartmann and Forrest J. Hartmann; grandchildren, Michelle Hartmann, Michael A. Hartmann and Stephanie Hartmann; 2 great-grandchildren; and his precious baby girl, Sassy. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Coy Sample and Pastor Thurman Braughton officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Fred Thornton, Glen Odom, Kenneth Carter, Stanley Dodd, Michael Bowman and Greg Scott. Honorary pallbearers include Randy Ashley, Charles Hamilton, Truman French, Dierksen Hospice Caregivers: Denise Thorton, Crystal O’Neal and Michael Jones, and Chaplain Herb Morgan.
