Ted R. Gentry Sr, 82, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, February 23, 1994, at a local hospital. He was a retired superintendent for Arkola Sand and Gravel, charter member and deacon at Lee Creek Baptist Church, 32nd degree Mason with Sebastian No. 706, former president of the American Association of Retired Persons of Crawford County and a graduate of Southwest Baptist Seminary.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters; one son; five sisters; one brother; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Friday at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel. Burial with Masonic graveside service was at Mount McCurry Cemetery.

Grace Jewell Gentry Roberts, 84, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Sunday, July 17, 2005, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Lee Creek Baptist Church in Van Buren, and she attended Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren. She ws preceded in death by her first husband, Ted R. Gentry Sr.
She is survived by her husband; three daughters and sons-in law, Virginia and Buddy, Betty and Bud, and Nancy and Art; three sons; and their spouses; one brother; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, Arkansas under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
