James “Jim” Fields, 88, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was born on December 31, 1926 to the late Benjamin Early Fields and Margaret Stancil. He was one of 9 children.

He was recently predeceased by his loving wife, of 68 years, Mary Leo Boyd Fields.

Mary and Jim Fields were longtime members of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Jim was honorably discharged from the United States Army in October 1946. He was in the 9th Reconnaissance Troop.

Their children include daughter Sharon Fields, son Mike and wife Lori, and daughter Stacey Elliott and husband Scott. Her grandchildren include Micah and Matt Fields and Conner Elliott. She has one great-grandchild; Hunter Fields.

Graveside services will be at 2:00p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Memorial Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
