DeLois Young, age 38, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Saturday, May 7, 1960,
She died soon after admittance to a local hospital of a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been in her usual state of good health as she worked at their place of business on East Main Street that Friday. At closing time that night she was stricken ill and failed to rally from the seizure.
She was born May 2, 1922 at Rudy, Arkansas the daughter of Wood G. and Rowena Emma (Fordham) Cluck.
She is survived by her parents, of Van Buren; her husband, Woodrow Young; a daughter, Linda Sue (David) McClure of Van Buren; a son, Robert Wayne Young of the home; a sister, Donna Sue Jones of New Orleans, Louisiana; and a brother, Ralph Cluck of Fort Smith.
Funeral Service was held Monday aftrernoon in the First Assembly of God church with pastor, Reverand Edwin Burris and Reverand Rupert Pixley officiating.
Burial was in Gracelawn Cemetery and directed by Ocker Funeral Home.
