William David Thomas, 65, of Van Buren, died Friday, June 2, 2006, in his home.
He was retired from Affiliated Foods of Tulsa and a member of Butterfield Assembly of God.
Funeral was 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren, with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; three daughters, Helen Prewitt of Fort Smith, Dodie Wheeler of Van Buren and Sandra Vahldick of Carthidge, Mo.; three sons, William and John Thomas, both of Van Buren, and Raymond Thomas of Carthage, Mo.; a brother, Claude Thomas of Oklahoma; and 12 grandchildren.

Helen Sue Thomas, 74 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Van Buren. She was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren and an avid Razorback fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William David Thomas, one brother and one daughter.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, January 24, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters Sandra Vahldick of Van Buren and Dodie Louise Wheeler of Kiowa, OK; three sons William and John Thomas both of Van Buren and Wayne Thomas of Carthage, MO; three sisters Martha Jacobs of Fort Smith, Flossie Snell of Charleston and Maudie Summers of Mulberry, AR; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will visit with relatives and friends on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Eddie Prewitt, Calvin Vahldick, Joseph Vahldick, Jeremy Thomas, Cody Thomas, Jonathan Garcia.
