March 13, 1913 - September 29, 1964
Roy V. Kinard, 51, of Baton Rouge, La., died Tuesday morning after a short illness. He was a member of Pipefitters' Local 706 of El Dorado. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alta Dixon Kinard; two daughters, Mrs. Royce Kinard and Mrs. Aleta Scott, both of Baton Rouge; and an aunt, Mrs. Walter Fernell of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel of Pratt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will be at the home of Walter Fernell, 1210 Block St. until the funeral. (The El Dorado Times - September 30, 1964)
