TOPEKA, Kan. — Genevieve M. Bell Lynn, 87, formerly of Bella Vista, died March 9, 2009, at a care center in Topeka. She was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Arma, Kan., to George and Hazel Bell. She graduated from Arma High School and attended Pittsburg State University. She married Harold W. Lynn on Oct. 5, 1941. She was employed as an administrative assistant for the Corps of Engineers in Kansas City, Mo., before she and her husband retired to Bella Vista in 1975. She was preceded in death by her
husband.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Ryan of Edgewood, N.M., and Debby O'Neill of Topeka; one granddaughter and two grandsons.
A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. David M. Fleming officiating.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home, online at www.funeralmation.com.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 4125 S.W. Gage, Topeka, KS 66604 or Easter Seals Capper Foundation, 3500 S.W. 10th, Topeka, KS 66604.
