Lynn Ray McClung, age 78, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, died June 6, 2018 with his wife at his side. He was the husband of surviving wife, Pat McClung, of Broken Arrow.

He was born March 20, 1940 in Clinton, Oklahoma; the oldest son of the late Ray and Fay McClung.

He was a 1962 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Upon graduation, Lynn served on active duty in the United States Army as a commissioned officer for two years. After joining IBM Corporation in Denver, Colorado, Lynn spent 30 years of dedicated service in various administration positions with IBM in Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma, retiring from IBM in 1994. Lynn later worked 20 years for ISG Technology, retiring in 2015.

Survivors include one son, Derek McClung, of Texarkana; one sister, Beth Williams and her husband, Wayne, of Texarkana, Arkansas. In addition, survivors include wife, Pat McClung’s son, Matt Burroughs and wife Stephanie and their son, Parker. Lynn is also survived by four nieces and nephews: Jeff, Jennie, Lori and Joe.

A memorial service celebrations Lynn’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens with military honors. Contributions in lieu of flowers in Lynn’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
