Jimmie Couch, 72, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away January 22, 2019. He was born July 5, 1946, in Hot Springs, to Durward and Ivena Gertie (Henderson) Couch. Jimmie was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, camping, and hunting. His favorite job was being “Papa” to his grandchildren and especially enjoyed his family vacations.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents; son, Perry Wayne Couch; and siblings, L.C., Sonny, Troy, Louise, and Carolyn.
Survivors include his wife, Sherrie Couch; sons, Bryan Couch, John Songer (Shauna); daughter, Bobbi Brumley (Chris); brother, Lloyd Couch (Betty); sister, Janey Berry; grandchildren, Kathleen, Devin (AJ), Emma, Jaycie, Adlyee, Nova; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
A celebration of Jimmie’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Harper officiating.
Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Mitch Couch, Todd Couch, Scott Couch, Eli Adair, Nathan Kieffner, and Jared Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers include are fellow employees at Coleman Dairy, staff of National Park Medical Center, and Pastor Josh Harper.
