Grover Arnold Stratton was born June 7, 1922 and died August 21, 1998.

He was survived by his wife, Jean Stratton, his children; Karen Fredrickson,Monte Wylie, Rita Young, Roger and Bob Stratton. Two sisters, Edna Adkins and Pebble Stratton; two brothers, Jim and Charles Stratton.

He also had seven grandchildren; and seven great grand children.

He was a member of the Heritage United Methodist Church and its choir. He also was a member of the Fidelity Chapter No. 86 Order of the Eastern Star, The Van Buren Masonic Lodge No. 6 and the Crawford County Cattlemans Association. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War and a retired tank supervisor from Harding Glass Co.

Ila Jean Stratton, 94, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
She was born March 21, 1923 in Kibler to the late Moody and Ethel Montgomery.

She was a retired Postmaster for Dyer, and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Stratton; a sister, Mary Lou Cialone; and two great-grandchildren, Ashtyn Holman and Alexander Reid.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen Fredrickson and Monte Wiley, both of Van Buren, and Rita Young of Ozark; two sons, Robert "Bob" Stratton of Waco, TX, and Roger Stratton of Solgohachia, AR; eight grandchildren, Michelle Perry, Michael Brandon Wright, Whitney Wiley, Laura Myers, Amy Taylor, Sara Haynes, Josh Stratton, and Matthew Stratton; and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren with committal of ashes to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
