Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Van Buren. Burial will follow in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Aaron Sweatman, 16, of Van Buren passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2009 in his home. Aaron was born on May 16, 1993 in Fort Worth, Texas, and had resided most of his life in Van Buren.
He was a student at Van Buren High School, a member of Oak Cliff Baptist Church, member of the Van Buren High School Band, a member of Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society.
He was survived by his parents; Kent and Sarah Sweatman of the home, two brothers; Adam Sweatman of Chicago and Andrew Sweatman of Van Buren, his grandparents; Mildred Hays of Van Buren,and James and his wife Patricia of Mobile, AL, five uncles, and three aunts.
Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church in Van Buren with Rev. Scott Maze officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
