Memorial Gardens Cemetery
Garland County,
Arkansas

January 17, 1952 - September 8, 2018

Beverly Ann Hawkins, 66, passed from this life on September 8, 2018. She was born in Avant, AR to Carroll Doyle Morrison and Novella Delsie (Blake) Morrison in 1952. Known to everyone as Ann, she was a strong soldier and disciple-maker for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Ann graduated Hot Springs High School in 1970. The following year, at the age of 19, her compassion quickly led her into the field of nursing - in which she served passionately for 47 years. Nursing was always her mission; never a job. Anns niche within the nursing field came in 1991 as one of the original registered nurses involved in reopening St. Josephs (now CHI) Labor/Delivery Maternal Child Unit. If you were fortunate enough to have Ann as your nurse (personally or for a grandchild), you knew you had been given a great gift from Heaven! Ann leaves behind the love of her life, Donald Hawkins, to whom she was married for 27 years. She was a peace-bringer to her four children: Lance Hawkins of Fairfield Bay, AR; Crystal (David) Carpenter of Anton, TX; Randa (Chris) Howlett of Sherwood, AR; and Kimberly (Jason) Barber of Jonesboro, AR. While she loved her husband and children greatly, another of Anns joyous titles in this life was Nana. She poured the love, grace, and mercy of Jesus Christ into Victoria (Blake) Mayo, Amanda Carpenter, Austin McFarland, Carson McFarland, Addyson Barber, Annika Howlett and Ian Howlett. Ann also leaves behind three sisters and a brother: Marilyn (Larry) Farley of Pine Bluff, AR; Carolyn (Gene) Gancarczyk of Pearcy, AR; Donald Morrison of Pearcy, AR; and Betty (Herman) Hunter of Hot Springs, AR along with many extended family members and beloved friends. If you were blessed to know her this side of glory, Ann was a salve to your soul. Her wisdom, courage, strength and encouragement will be greatly missed on earth by the many extended family, friends, and patients. However, she is now pain-free in her glorified body and is at peace residing with her Heavenly Father. Selah. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Larry Catcher officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening. Pallbearers will be Roger Thornton, Wayne Murders, Gary Kees, Glen Grisham, Billy Abbott and Kim Holsomback. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
