Lewis Wayne Spencer, 48, of Casper, Wyoming died Saturday at Casper. The former Van Buren resident was administor of the Natrona County Memorial Hospital in Casper. He also was president of the Wyoming Hospital Association, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Casper, a fellow of the American College of Hospital Administrators, past trustee of the Midwest Health Congress, former assistant administrator of Sparks Regional Medical Center from 1964-1967, former administrator of the Boone County Hospital in Harrison from 1967-1976, member of Sebastian Lodge 706, Kiwanis Club and veteran of the Navy.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ocker Memorial Chapel. Masonic Graveside Rites were followed at Gracelawn Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Shella and Sherian; one son; his mother; and one sister Donnelle.
