Guy Spradley, 85, of Van Buren died Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Fort Smith.
He was born Oct. 22, 1927, in Hackett to the late Earl and Lela Spradley.
He was a fireman for the city of Fort Smith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Spradley; two sons, Larry Spradley and wife P.J. of Howe and Randy Spradley and wife Rhonda Woolsey of Fort Smith; a sister, Ann Ramsey of Minneapolis; five grandchildren, Heather Sullivan, Cara Spradley, Matt Spradley, Andrew Spradley and David Spradley; and three great-grandchildren, Allie Sullivan, Emelia and Benjamin Spradley.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Chapel in Van Buren with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Derrick, Jim Kolp, Jim Hicks, Quinton Waldo, Bill Vickery, Bob Caperton, Guy Ramsey and Travis Robertson.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult 6 Men's Class at First Baptist Church.

Doris Spradley, 89, of Fort Smith, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017.
She was born April 5, 1928 in Midland, AR to the late George and Cora Derrick.
She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church in Van Buren, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Guy Spradley, and a granddaughter, Emily Spradley.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Spradley and wife P.J. of Poteau, and Randy Spradley and wife Rhonda of Fort Smith; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, and David Spradley, Heather and Josh Sullivan, Cara Spradley, Lance Harris, and Lauren Woolsey; six great-grandchildren, Emelia Jane Spradley, Benjamin Spradley, Allie Sullivan, Jaxon Harris, Jacelyn Harris, and Audrey Gonzalez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Spradley, Bob Derrick, Jim Kolp, Lance Harris, Bill Vickery, and Josh Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Spradley, David Spradley, Jim Hicks, and Travis Robertson.
