Mary C. Pyron, age 80, of Hot Springs, died, Saturday, June 16, 2012. She was born on December 25, 1931 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Charles Bryan Mason and Lucille Schrueble Mason. She was married to Carroll Pyron, Jr. on January 22, 1962. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Eugene Mason. Mary was Baptist by faith. She was a waitress for over twenty-four years working at Pop-N-Pizza and Beanos Pizza. She was a good vegetable gardener and loved working in her flower garden for pleasure. She was devoted to her loving family and her cats were very dear to her also. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Carroll L. Pyron, Jr. of Hot Springs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Dianna Hutzel of Norman, Oklahoma and David L. Pyron of Pearcy; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Eugene Owens of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Janice and Brent Owens of Moore, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Sherry Hughes of Pearcy; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Coy Sample officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Pallbearers will be Doug Sanders, Brad Maynard, David Hill, Kyle Briggs, Al Marti and Joe Swink. Honorary pallbearers will be, Wayne Harvey, Jimmy and Mary McCully, Zack, Jr. and Betty Branch and Susan Storey. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith .com.
