Margaret Jane Storm, 85, of Bella Vista, died Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009, at Bradford House in Bentonville.
She was born on April 1, 1924, on a farm near Sholes, Neb., to John N. and Fannie M. Mattingly Ream.
She lived most of her young life in Wayne, Neb.
After graduation and working she married Vern D. Storm on Sept. 7, 1947. They moved to Fremont, Neb., where he began his career with Gambles. They were Gamble store owners at Kearney, Neb.
They moved to Bella Vista in 1993.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Circle, a life member of VFW Auxiliary 759 Kearney and Eastern Star in Wayne, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vern Dale Storm on June 30, 1998, one brother, one sister, and a nephew.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Gewain and husband, Matt of Tehachapi, Calif., Janie Robinson and husband, Michael of Bentonville; one grandson Tim and wife, Ashley of Bentonville; one granddaughter, Katie Robinson of Bentonville; one sister; Clara Glassmeyer and husband, Merle of Lexington, Neb.; four nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, Arkansas at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prayer Shawl Ministry, First United Methodist Church, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72714.
