Charles W. Simco, 84, of Fort Smith, died Sunday, February 28, 1999 in a local hospital.
He was born November 23, 1914 in Crawford County to John and Mattie Sebourn Simco.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, a local businessman and a member of a pioneer Crawford County family.

He was survived by his wife, Hazel Tuttle Simco; four daughters, Joyce Marshell of Mountainburg, Charlene Griffith of Van Buren and Cathy Tinder and Jane Richardson, both of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.

Hazel
August 19, 1912 - May 11, 2005

Hazel Bell Simco, 92, of Fort Smith, formerly of Mountainburg, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, in her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Presbyterian Church.


Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

She is survived by four daughters, Charlene Griffith of Van Buren, Cathy Tinder and Jane Richardson, both of Fort Smith, and Joyce Marshell of Mountainburg; two sisters, Irene Shaffer of Ruidoso, N.M., and Ruth Robinson of Stigler; two brothers, Glen Tuttle of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Jack Tuttle of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.


Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bren and Tom Marshell, Greg Avlos, Ty Matlock, Chuck Richardson and Steve Stanton.
