Lavetta Marguerite Stallings, 80, of Pearcy, Arkansas, passed away January 6, 2022. She was born July 11, 1941, in Bell, California, to Harold William and Lavetta Nadean (Chesley) Wager.

Lavetta was a member of First Lutheran Church in Hot Springs. She spent her career working for several companies including: Arkansas Bank and Trust, Earl Gill Coffee, and National Park Medical Center. Lavetta received an Associate’s Degree from National Park College.

Lavetta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Stallings; son, Steven Stallings; and brothers, William and Kenneth.

Survivors include son, Timothy Stallings and daughter, Sharon Wilfong. She is also survived by her much loved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Lavetta’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18th at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan Beyer officiating.

Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Floyd Harvey, Eddie Vasseau, Shavon Vaughn, Shaquile Vaughn, Brad Sexton, Glen George, and Rodney Morse.

Special appreciation for the loving care Lavetta received from Ernestine Vaughn, Lou Gates, and Debra Redic, as well as the staff of Glenwood Nursing Home and Canyon Springs Nursing Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church of Hot Springs.
