Mrs. Muriel Shultz, 309 North 20th Street, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Sunday night October 13, 1968 in a local hospital one day before her 68th birthday. She was born October 14, 1900 at Effingham, Kansas, to George and Lillie Hamner Delfelder. A member of Wood Memorial Christian church she had been a resident of Van Buren, Arkansas since 1926.
Survivors are her husband,; two sons; a daughter, June; two brothers; five sisters, Mable, Annetta, Bertha, Dorothy,and Dessie; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral service was held in Ocker Memorial chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Jack Cutbirth, pastor of Wood Memorial Christian church and J. H. Carter, pastor of Zion Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Gracelawn cemetery.
