Thomas "Bink" Shaver, of Fort Smith(Sebastian County), Arkansas, died Saturday, March 22, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was 84 years old. Thomas was the last surving child of the late Thomas Arthur and Mamie Sarah Shaver.
He was retired from the Fort Smith City Street Department. Thomas was a member of Midland Heights Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion.
Thomas was proceded in death by his parents; his siblings: and one grandson: Brandon Shaver. He is survived by his wife: Oneta; one daughter: Barbara Blevins and husband David of Van Buren, Arkansas; one son: Tommy Shaver Jr. and his wife Debora, of Van Buren; and one grandson: Adam Shaver.Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, at 1:00p.m.

Pallbearers were: Dickie Tramell, Jim Shaver, Tommy Parker, Gene Arnold Jr. Gary Hays, Roy Parker, Stassen Saver, and Blake Klomfas.
Honorary pallbearers were: Charles Shaver, Larry Williams and Jerry Schoeppey.

Oneta Mae Shaver, 85, of Fort Smith, died April 7, 2015 in Fort Smith.
She was born October 9, 1929 in Greenwood, AR to Harlan Hoyt and Virginia Mae Gilliam Williams.

She was a loving wife and mother. Oneta met the love of her life and husband of 58 years Thomas Binkley Shaver while working for Banfield Packing Company. She later worked for Kress 5 & 10 on Garrison and Hunt's Department Store. She was a member of Midland Heights United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the American Legion Auxiliary. Oneta attended the Ray Baker Senior Center for a few years and loved going every day, and enjoyed the fellowship and Bingo.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara and husband John David Blevins of Van Buren; one son, Thomas B. Shaver, Jr of Van Buren, AR; two sisters, Charlene Garner of Abilene, Texas and Elzora Buell of Fort Smith; two brothers, Olen Williams of Fresno, CA and Darwin Williams of Lee Summit, MO; one grandson, Adam Austin Shaver; special cousins, Larry & Martha Williams and Helen Huckleberry.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Thomas Binkley Shaver; a special aunt, Dollie Cormack, who she lived with from age 14 until she married; daughter in law, Debora Ann Shaver; sisters, Rosemary Brown and Imogene Williams; brother, Preston Williams, Sr; and grandson, Brandon William Shaver.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Stassen Shaver, Gary Hays, Rick Williams, Preston Williams, Jr. Brian Vick, Don Giles, Dale Dawson, and J.B. Jackson.
