November 25, 1929 - January 30, 2008
William Joe Seratt, 78, of Mountainburg died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 25, 1929, in Chester. He was a member of Graphic New Hope Baptist Church and retired from the U.S. Forest Service.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Loys; two sons, William and Kenneth Seratt, both of Mountainburg; two sisters, Stella Easter and Beulah Watkins, both of Mountainburg; three brothers, Raymond, Jimmy and Kenneth Seratt, all of Mountainburg; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy and Wilson Seratt, Josh and Randall Moore, Lane Phillips and Jace Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.

April 10, 1933 - October 14, 2021
Loys Maxine Seratt, 88, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in her home. She was a retired school teacher from Stepping Stone School and a member of Pigeon Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was born April 10, 1933 in Rudy, AR to the late Henry and Ella Mae (Mounce) Childers and the widow of William "Bill" Seratt. Maxine was also preceded in death by a daughter, Caroline Sue Menke; granddaughter, Stacy Moore and 20 brothers and sisters. She loved sewing, quilting and her animals.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Seratt and wife Donna Kay and Kenneth Seratt both of Mountainburg, AR; a bonus daughter, Debra Langley; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a niece, Donna Faye Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Brian Seratt, Michael Bowles, Wilson Seratt, Logan Seratt, Cruz Palafax and Jesse Anderson.
