Carolyn Ruth Rogers, 67 of Alma passed away June 9, 2013 in a local hospital.
She was born June 9, 1946 in Poteau, OK.

She was a homemaker, a loving and active member of Kibler United Methodist Church, an active lay-witness member. She loved God, her family, children's ministry and life!

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Rogers; her mother & step father, Pat & Ora (Smotherman) Woodard, her father, Hoyt Smotherman, one sister, Faye Earls.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Roy G. Rogers of 49 years, one daughter, Gina Flores of Roland; one son, of Blake Rogers of Alma; one sister, Beverly Denham of Fort Smith, one brother, Ray Smotherman of Fort Smith; two granddaughters, Katie Vansell of Van Buren & Bethany Flores of Roland; three grandsons, Hunter Rogers & Brennan Rogers both of Alma, Christian Flores of Roland; one great grand-daughter, Lillie Vansell of Van Buren and lots of cousins, nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Terry Earls, Mikey Earls, Scott Peters, Bill Bartholomew, Eddie Vansell, and James Ray Smotherman.
