October 30, 1890 - January 2, 1963
Ray E. Robinson, 72 years old of 1312 Cedar Street, Van Buren, Arkansas, died Wednesday at Crawford County Memorial hospital after a short illness. mr. robinson, a lifelong resident of Van Buren, was a member of First Baptist church in VAn Buren, a former county treasurer and retired state revenue collector.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Frances Ann Robinson; a son Ray Robinson, Jr, of Walnut Creek, California; four daughters, Mrs. Jack Hogg of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, mrs. William Howe of Encino, California, mrs. John Danciu of Hammond, Indiana, and Mrs. James Driver of Rocherster N. Y.;two brothers, both of Van Buren; a sister Mrs. E. O. Hawkins of Van Buren; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at First Baptist church in Van Buren at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Charles Graves, Pastor, officiating. Burial was in Gracelawn cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
