Jonnie Maxine Richmond, 78, of Fort Smith, passed from this life June 10, 2018 in Fort Smith.
She was born May 15, 1940, in Alma, to the late Clarence and Lena Wright Vanderheiden.
Jonnie had worked in the office at C. Bean Transport and was a member of Massard Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Fulton and her husband Eddie of Fort Smith; her sister, Peggy White and her husband James of Everett, Washington; as well as her grandson, Aaron Fulton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Billy Lee Vanderheiden.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation being from 10:00 to 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Gracelawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
