Charles Hartford Reed, 90 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in a local hospital.

He was a former self employed manager/business owner in the building/construction industry; A longtime resident of Crawford County. He was a member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren.

Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, February 27, 2015 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Mary Jo (O’Guinn) Reed of the home; three daughters, Molly Unverzagt and Sheila Huffstetler both of Van Buren, JoAnn Van Scyoc of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, Charles H. Reed of Nixa, MO; one sister, Jewel Suson of Van Buren; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Mary Jo Reed, 89 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in a local nursing home.

She was a resident of Crawford County since 1969; she was an accomplished seamstress and loved to sing about her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Charles H. Reed, her Father, Aaron Clayton O’Guinn, her mother and step-father, Bertha Lee (King) and Luther Huckabay.

She is survived by her three daughters, Molly Unverzagt and husband, Tom, Sheila Huffstetler and husband, Eddie all of Van Buren, Jo Ann Van Scyoc and husband, Eric of Cleveland, Ohio; one son, Charles Reed and wife, Nancy of Nixa, Missouri; one brother, Thomas O’Guinn Gibson; twelve grandchildren and Twenty-One great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
