Harold Wayne Ramsey, 88, of Van Buren passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in a local hospital.
He was a retired production coordinator for Gerber Products in Fort Smith, an Army veteran of World War II, a survivor of the Battle of the Bulge, a member of Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren, a resident of Van Buren since 1963 and a native of Savannah, Mo.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ramsey.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. No formal service will be held.
He is survived by his wife, Irish June Ramsey of the home; a daughter, Barbara Ann Knesek of Russellville; a son, Gary Wayne Ramsey of Van Buren; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Hurst of St. Joseph, Mo., and Patricia Lou Hall of Maryville, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
