Lettie Brooks, age 95, of Malvern passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her home. She was born February 22, 1926, in Lonoke, the daughter of the late William and Della Potts Barnes. Lettie was the oldest member of Third Assembly of God, where she taught Sunday school classes for a long time. She was a faithful Christian lady who loved cooking for her family and her church family. She enjoyed taking care of people and her flowers. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Ruby Ball Crain; second husband, Ernest C. Brooks; sisters, Mable Edwards Sanders and Lillian Roland Holland; brother, Noah Barnes and son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Donna Crain.

Lettie is survived by her grandchildren, Brooks Crain (Tisha) of Malvern, Brandi Smith (Jeremy) of Poyen and Lori Brockinton of Cabot; great grandchildren, Cody Crain (Hannah), Caitlyn Crain, Haley Smith, Cassidy Crain, Walker Smith, Brett Brockinton and Rylee Brockinton and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 24 from 2:00-4:00pm at Regency Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 25 at 2:00pm at Lindsey Poyen Cemetery with Reverend Charles “Pete” Elliott officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Kindred Hospice and her caregivers, Arie Means and Caitlyn Crain.

Memorials may be made to Third Assembly of God, 2148 Grant Street, Malvern, AR 72104.
