April 12, 1917 - January 1, 2011
Tillman George Patton, 93, of Van Buren died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, in a local nursing home.
He was a retired Missouri Pacific brakeman and conductor.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Daisy; a daughter, Lou Scroggins of Van Buren; four sons, Jack Patton of Poteau, Gary Patton of Subiaco, Robert Patton of Huntington and Rick Patton of Alma; a brother, Bryan Patton of Diana, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.

Daisy Inez Patton, 97, of Van Buren died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014, in a local hospital.
She was born March 21, 1917, in Gore.
She attended City Heights Methodist Church in Van Buren.
She was the widow of Tillman George "T. G." Patton Sr.
She was the Daughter of Lon and Ada Ollie Garrison and the Grandaughter of Nancy Ada Scott and the Great Grandaughter of Lucinda Nancy Coben Vann.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ocker Chapel of Alma with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Scroggins of Van Buren; four sons, Jack Patton of Poteau, Gary Patton of Subiaco, Bob Patton of Huntington and Rick Patton of Alma; a half sister, Mary Smith of Oklahoma; two half brothers, Layman and Garner Garrison, both of Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
