Clifton Eugene Polk, 77, of Van Buren passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 in a local hospital.
He was a retired fireman for the Fort Smith Fire Department for 25 years and a Knifemaker. He was a member of the First Assembly of God church in Van Buren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Marcus Polk and Rosie M. (Robinson) Polk and a brother Earl Polk, Jr.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Trena Polk of the home; a daughter Pamela K. Vinsant and husband Paul of Van Buren; a son Rusty E. Polk and companion Leslie of Van Buren; a sister Billie Jean Martin of Shady Point, Oklahoma; a brother Carl Polk of Mena; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be fellow firemen of the Fort Smith Fire Department.
