The Rev. Burl Osborne, 79, of Van Buren died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, in a local nursing home.
He was a retired Freewill Baptist minister and cattleman and an Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral was 10 a.m. Tuesday in Catcher Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Lola; two daughters, Barbara Krietemeyer of Fort Smith and Carolyn Jones of Van Buren; two sons, William Boyd Osborne of Russellville and Phillip of Van Buren; three sisters, Islare Scott of Van Buren, Willie Jewel Warren of Patterson, Calif., and Martha Willene Neidecker of Van Buren; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Donnie Krietemeyer Jr., Kyle Hood, Jeff Carlton, Aaron Jones, Daniel Swafford and Westley Osborne.
