August 4, 1934 - January 22, 2006
James Myers, 71, of Van Buren died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, in a local hospital. He was retired from Samsonite Table Company. A member of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren, and a member of Alma Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by both parents, Arthur and Velma Waldron Myers.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by three daughters, Karen Ball and Rhonda Boyd, both of Van Buren, and Stephanie Lyles of McCrory; a sister, Ruby Sangster of Alma; five grandchildren, Kaleigh and Ashleigh Ball, and Tyler, McKenzie and Elijah Lyles.
Pallbearers will be Gary Lyles, Troy Lyles, Michael Boyd and Gary Betnar.
