August 14, 1947 - June 18, 2013

Kenneth Dale Morris Sr., 65, of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at his son's home in Arkoma. He was a retired electrician for Simmons Food in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Morris.

Graveside service were Thursday June 20 at Gracelawn Arbor with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Dale Morris Jr. and wife Stephanie of Arkoma and Kenneth Lee Morris and wife Suzie of Bentonville; one daughter, Angela Flowers of Van Buren; his mother, Thelma Morris of Arkoma; one sister, Frieda Fisher of Van Buren; one brother, Bobby Gene Greenwood of Van Buren; and nine grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Evan Morris, David Morris, Steven Fisher, Odell Myers, David Wright, John Myers and Tommy Jones.

February 11, 1950 - February 20, 2012

Diane Leanne Morris, 62, of Van Buren died Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a former employee of Hudson Foods and a lifelong resident of Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her brother, James E. Dunn.

Graveside service were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dale Morris Sr. of the home; two daughters, Angels Marie Flowers of Lake Charles, La., and Summer Dawn Bautista of Van Buren; two sons, Kenneth Dale Morris Jr. of Bokoshe and Kenneth Lee Morris of Bentonville; three sisters, Freda Martin and Jeanette Blount, both of Van Buren, and Sharon Teague of Alma; a brother, J.R. Dunn of Van Buren; and nine grandchildren.
