Clyde Mondier, 77, of Van Buren, died Thursday, December 31, 1998, in a local hospital.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, and retired from the Fort Chaffee Fire Department. He was a former employee of Gracelawn Cemetery and a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.
Survivors were his wife, Mildred; three sons, Mike, David and Wayne all of Van Buren; one sister Marie Karm of Seguin, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Ocker Funeral Home with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

March 10, 1929 - March 31, 2005
Mildred E. Mondier, 76, of Van Buren died Thursday, March 31, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker, a member of St John's Methodist Church attended City Heights Methodist Church and was the widow of Clyde Mondier.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
She is survived by two sons, her stepmother, two sisters, a brother, and four grandchildren.
