Herman L. Michael, 62, of Van Buren died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004, in his home.
He was retired from OK Foods and River City Ind. Co. in refrigeration maintenance. He was a resident of Van Buren since 1977. He was a former member of the Army National Guard in Danville.
Funeral was 2 p.m. Monday at Ocker Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Michael of the home; a daughter, Lisa Minix of Van Buren; a brother, Joe Michael and his wife Lynda of Texas; a grandchild, Lyndi Michael of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Danny Deaton, Calvin Billingsley, Charles Fowler, Bill Miller, Ron Griffin and Leo McKee. Honorary pallbearers were Todd and Phil Michael, Marty Baker and Bryan and Harold McKee.

August 3, 1939 - December 19, 2017
Bobbie Sue Michael, 78 of Van Buren passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in a local nursing home.
She was a retired bookkeeper for OK Foods in Fort Smith. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Michael.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Minix of Fort Smith; one son, Justin Michael and wife, Jessica of Van Buren; two brothers, Charles Fowler of Danville, Calvin Billingsley of Mulberry; two grandchildren, Lyndi and Ashlyn Michael both of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Michael, Marty Baker, Todd Michael, Matt Judkins, Phil Coulson, Kevin Porter and Phil Michael.
