July 18, 1892 - January 20, 1972
Orbey Meals, 79 years old of Route 1 Van Buren, Arkansas died Thursday, January 20, 1972 in a local hospital.
A retired employee of the Western Wheel Barrow company, he was born at Moberly, Missouri on February 5, 1892, the son of Charles Wesley and Rebecca Jane Kittle Meals.
Survivors are a daughter, Juanita; a brother, Claude; a granddaughter, Mrs. Schultz; a grandson, Neil; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church. The pastor, Bobby Joe Ball officiated. Burial was in Gracelawn cemetery was by Edwards Funeral Home.
