James T. McMaster, 79, of Van Buren died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in a local hospital.

He was a self-employed cattleman, Army veteran of the Korean War, member of Cedarville Baptist Church and the widower of Betty McMaster.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren.

He is survived by a daughter, Cathy McMaster of Tracy, Calif.; a son, James McMaster of Van Buren; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jim Johns, Kenneth McClendon, Vernon Russell, Virgil Armstrong, Johnny Thompson and Jonathan McMaster.

Betty
March 24, 1934 - January 7, 2006

Betty Lou McMaster, 71, of Van Buren died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at a local hospital.

She was a secretary, one of the original organizers of the Cedarville Water Department, a resident of Crawford County for 44 years and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, J.T. of the home; one daughter, Cathy McMaster of Tracy, Calif.; two sons, Sam Plough of Anderson, Calif., and Jimmy McMaster of Van Buren; one brother DeWayne Brown and wife, Donna of Lebanon, Ohio; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were T.J. and Jonathan McMaster, Jeremy and Michael Goines, Jim Armer and Russell Garrett.
