William L. McLane, Sr., 63, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in a local hospital.
He was born on September 27, 1954 in McAllen, Texas.

He was a former crane operator for Bud’s Iron and Metal and Davis Iron and Metal and was preceded in death by his wife Linda McLane.

He was a member of both Foxfire and Shooters pool leagues. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his three daughters, Rose Graves, Cynthia Wilcox and Tiffany McLane all of Fort Smith, AR; one son, William McLane, Jr. of Fort Smith, a step daughter, Betty Jamason of Rudy, AR; two stepsons, Franklin Foster and Daniel Carter both of Fort Smith; five sisters, Janie Clepper and June Perez of Texas and Patricia Taylor, Mary Black and Tina Saathoff all of OK; one brother, Bobby McLane of TX; 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10:00AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are William McLane, Jr., William McLane, III, Colton McLane, L.J. and Brian Oliver and Robert Welch.
