John "Jack" Lowery, 84, of Van Buren died Monday, May 24, 2010, in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Claremore, Oklahoma.
He was a retired maintenance worker at Sandia National Labs and a member of Rena Road Church of Christ.
Funeral was 10 a.m., May 27, 2010 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, DeLoris; three daughters, Glenda of Albuquerque, N.M., Debra of Tonopah, Nev., and Niva of Van Buren; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were his nephews, Roger and Steven Heathcock, Bobby Campbell, Kevin English, J.L. Williams and Earl Williams Jr.

Deloris Lowery, 85, of Van Buren, AR, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Fort Smith, AR. She was born March 14, 1927 in Spiro, OK to Thomas and Leona Williams.
She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Lowery.
She is survived by three daughters, Marcella Larsen and her husband Paul of Albuquerque, NM, Debora Baca and her husband Michael of Tonopah, NV and Niva Lowery of Van Buren, AR; five sisters, Ilene Watkins of Castle Rock, CO, Doris Heathcock of Van Buren, AR, Mary English of Tulsa, OK, Pat Campbell of Fort Smith, AR and Venda Gregory of Fort Smith, AR; two brothers, Earl Williams of Fort Smith, AR and Glendal Williams of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Tommy Lee Boykin of Albuquerque, NM and Sara Lynn Baca of Reno, NV.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 15, 2012 at Rena Road Church of Christ in Van Buren, AR with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
