PEA RIDGE — James Wayne McCoy, 82, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, Feb. 21, at Circle of Life in Bentonville. He was born Aug. 17, 1937, at Cheyenne, Wyo., to James Faye McCoy and Unice Evans McCoy.
He married Della Mae Drymon June 28, 1958. He was a delivery driver and retired from NWA Paper Company in Springdale after 32 years.
He loved to hunt, creek and river fish at War Eagle Bridge. He was a jokester, loved telling jokes, talking and he never met a stranger. He collected guns, enjoyed shooting and checking on the homeplace in Clifty, Ark. He also enjoyed playing Power Ball.
He went to school in Lonestar, Ark., near Hindsville and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Della Mae McCoy, Feb. 15, 2016; two sisters, Lois Ann McKeon and Betty McCoy; one brother, JR McCoy.
Survivors are two daughters, Gail Robinson and husband Rick of Pea Ridge, Joyce Cunningham and husband David of Siloam Springs; one son, Darryl McCoy of Rogers; five grandchildren Brady Sanders, ZBow Sanders, Tyler Robinson, Austin McCoy and Mandy Cooper; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is set for 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge with burial at Frisco Springs Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday night at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter.

SPRINGDALE — Della Mae McCoy, 75, passed away in Springdale. She was born on Sept. 27, 1940, in Lowell, Ark., to the late Theodore and Irene (Shepard) Drymon.
She was the wife of 58 years to James Wayne McCoy. Della moved to California where she met James Wayne, also an Arkansas native. Upon returning to Arkansas, she began working for Emerson Electric, where she stayed almost 20 years before retiring. Della loved to spend time with her grandchildren and watching TV. She was feisty, enjoyed music and her dog, Amigo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Linda McCoy. Della is survived by her husband, James Wayne of Springdale; son, Darryl McCoy of Rogers; daughters, Joyce Cunningham and husband, David of Siloam Springs and Gail Robinson and husband, Rick of Pea Ridge; brothers, Ron Drymon and wife, Sue of Springdale and Dale Drymon of California; sisters, Joanne Stapleton of California and Tammy Fugate of Rogers; grandchildren, Brady Sanders, Zbow Sanders, Austin McCoy, Tyler Robinson, Mandi Cooper; great-grandchildren, Hunter Sanders, Colton Sanders, Zoey Sanders, Dixie Lee McCoy, Charleigh McCoy Madyson Cooper and Bryson Cooper.
A visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, from 5 until 7 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, with burial to follow at Frisco Cemetery in Lowell.
