Charles Martin, 84, of Van Buren, AR died Friday, June 7, 2013 in Fort Smith.
He was born April 18, 1929 in Fort Smith, AR to Charles and Fern Martin.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was a driver and salesman for White Dairy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bobby Martin.
He was a loving father and a loving grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Martin of the home; two daughters, Marsha Martin of the home, Vickie Despain of Huntsville, AR; three grandchildren, Brandy Steele, Chris Despain, Cody Despain; a great grandson, Kaden Cates; as well as two other great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Patsy Martin, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Fort Smith.
She was born September 29, 1931 in Centerton to the late Jake and Vera Engleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Martin.
She had worked for Michaels.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Martin of the home, and Vickie Despain of Huntsville; five sisters, JoAnn Shipper of Rogers, Jackie Modlin of Joplin, MO, Dixie Engleman of Florida, Sue Bryant of Fordyce, and Debbie Baker of Tulsa; three brothers, Danny, Jim, and Bill Engleman, all of Rogers; three grandchildren, Brandy Steele, Chris Despain, and Cody Despain; and four great-grandchildren, Kaden Cates, Hudson Steele, and Payton and Parker Despain.
A private burial will be held at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
