Thelma (Juanita) Martin passed away May 24, 2011, in Fort Smith.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1917, in Talihina to William Abbott and Ellen Johnson Ramey.

She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Jack M. Martin; all of her brothers, John (Runt), Albert (Tbone), Everett (Pete), Author, Clyde (Skinny), James Earnest Joseph Earl; and all of her sisters, Susie, Mable, Eula, Beulah, Reba Lorene (Wimby), Sadie Mae, Mary Ethel and Flora.

Funeral service was 10 a.m. Friday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Ann Martin and Marshall Martin, both of Van Buren, and Jerry Martin and wife Betty of Springdale; three grandsons and wives, Bruce and Linda Martin of Tucson, Ariz., Cary Martin and Heather Novotny of Salt Lake City and John and Rachael Martin of Springdale; six great-grandchildren, Ian Martin, Silas Martin, Archer Martin, Katrina Martin, Zev Martin and Faye Martin; a family friend, Cooky Sadler; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Eddie Booth, Jim Rogers, Billy Grober, Bruce Martin, Cary Martin and John Martin.
