Bill Lloyd 74 of Van Buren, Arkansas went to be with the Lord & Savior on Wednesday, July 4, 2007. Graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1951, He was retired as a Department Head after 38 years with James River Dixie in Fort Smith, he served in the AIr Force during the Korean War with the 511th Aircraft Control & Warning Group in Akita, Japan, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren and was in the Community Bible Class. He was preceded in death by both parents Ebbie & Harriet Lloyd, four brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife Dorris of the home, three sons: Robert Lloyd and wife, Carol of Booneville, Ray Meyers and wife, Kim of Poteau, OK, and Dr. Larry Meyers and wife, Marcia of Altanta, GA and one daughter, Robin Myers Malone and husband, Mike of Rudy. Four granddaughters, Ashley Meyers Lum, Lindsay, Leah and Lauren Lloyd and three grandsons, Josh Meyers, Jake & Malone. Three sisters, Alice Nysveen of Tulsa, OK, Betty Hansen of Palisade, CO and Metta Phillips of Van Buren, numerous nieces & nephews.
