Cedric Darrell Miller was born on November 23, 1981 to Cedric Holmes and Anita Miller in Camden, Arkansas.

He graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 2000 and attended Southern Arkansas University Tech. Cedric was an active member of Mt. Hebron Missionary Baptist Church where he also served as a Sunday School teacher. He departed this life on November 8, 2018.

Cedric was joined in marriage to Shaunta Davis on October 29, 2007. To this union, three children were born.
Known to most simply as “Ced”, he had a great love for his family. His personality was very cheerful and he never met a stranger. His smile was infectious. Ced was a great father and a great friend to all he encountered. He was employed as a Supervisor at Strobel Energy.

Cedric was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jett Miller; maternal grandfather Madis Tatum; paternal grandmother Bobbie Hunter; and paternal grandfather Donnie Lee Holmes.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife of 11 years Shaunta Miller; three daughters: Tiana, Kyla, and Chloe Miller; one son: Casyn Miller, all of Camden; mother Anita Miller of Camden; father Cedric (Michelle) Holmes of Texarkana, Arkansas; maternal grandmother, with whom he had a beautiful relationship with, Rosie Tatum of Chidester, Arkansas; four maternal brothers: Michael Miller of Houston, Texas; Jonathan(Kari) Ford of Harrell, Arkansas; twin brother Fredrick (Renere) Miller of Texarkana; and Reggie Miller of Chidester; two paternal sisters: Twanda (Trent) Walker and Pamela Holmes both of Atlanta, Georgia; one paternal brother: Derrick Holmes of Denver, Colorado; three maternal aunts: Evelyn Thrist, Beverly Lindsey, and Wanda Miller all of Camden; maternal uncle: Jerry (Phyllis) Miller of Camden; two paternal aunts: Laverna Jackson of Camden and Cassandra (Ray) Moore of Denver; three paternal uncles: Billy (Mercedes) Hunter and John (Dorothy) Hopper both of Camden; and Donald (Willie) Holmes of Orange County, Texas; one niece, seven nephews, and a host of additional relatives, friends, and church family.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, November 16th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Camden, AR, with burial will follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery under the direction of R.L. Reed Funeral Home, LLC of Magnolia, AR. Officiating will be Rev. Lonnell Moore.

Visitation will be Thursday 12: noon till 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 100 Hwy 79 N. Magnolia, AR.
