Nancy Kamper, 60, of Van Buren, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, March 29, 2015 in a local hospital.
She was greeted with loving open arms by her heavenly father; her loving parents, Martin and Deanne Kamper her maternal grandparents, Charles and Myrtle Matlock; and her paternal grandparents, Martin and Anna Kamper .

Nancy loved her babies. She was a very dedicated, loving, and nurturing NICU nurse. She had done this work since the day she graduated from nursing school. She was a lactating consultant which taught mothers how to breast feed.

She loved to go to estate sales, garage sales and antiquing. She also loved to go camping. She would get so sun burned they called her “Hot Meat”. She was a member of the Chi Sigma Sorority.

She was a born again Christian of the Baptist faith and she will be missed by her sister Jane and husband Frank Koran, Sr.; her adopted brothers, Tommy Chaffin and Ross Robinson of Van Buren; her nieces, Debra and Jean Koran and brother, Frank Koran, Jr., of Siloam Springs. She will also be missed by her furry babies, Maddie, Snickers and Lanie.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with cremation to follow. Arrangements and cremation are under the arrangement of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
At Nancy’s request she will be cremated and placed between her maternal grandparents at Gracelawn Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Chaffin, Ross Robinson, Gary Crozier, Carla Walker, Frank Koran, Jr., Susan Walker, Cher Darrow, Chris Namdar, Jeannie Findley, APN, and Chi Sigma Sorority.
