Clara R. Bowen Kendig, 88 of Van Buren, died Friday, December 16, 2005 in a local nursing home. She was born June 5, 1917 in Van Buren.
She was a homemaker and a member of Homestead Heights Baptist Church in Fort Smith.
She was survived by two sons, James Kendig of Van Buren and Luren Kendig of Waco, Texas; a sister, Bessie Cobble of Tulsa; a brother, Carl Bowen of Van Buren; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Ocker Funeral Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
