Jerry Byron Broadway, 74 of Imboden, passed away June 21, 2022, at his residence surrounded by family.
Born February 11, 1948, in Carthage, MO, son of the late Jesse Broadway and Nadine Smith Wheeler. He was united in marriage to Sharon Lamberth on October 11, 1967. He was a Diesel Mechanic and was awarded Top Diesel Mechanic in the United States by the Case IH corporation in the 1980’s. He was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar.
He is preceded by his parents; and his stepfather, Staff Sargant Bill Wheeler; his wife, Sharon; and four great grandchildren.
Survivors include his son, Billy (Rebecca) Broadway of Gulf Shores, AL; three daughters, Christy Broadway of Cave City, Mona Tanner of Imboden, and Gail (Edwin) Berry of Lafe; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; three brothers, Leon (Bonnie) Broadway, Roger, and Rick Broadway all of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Lynda (Lester) Catherell of Kansas City, MO; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 1, 2022, at 3 P.M. with Bro. Jake Guenrich officiating in the Bryan Chapel in Hoxie.
Visitation will be from 1 P.M. till 3 P.M.
