December 18, 1945 - November 3, 1962
Funeral service for Freddie Jeremiah, 16, of 2103 Harrison Street was conducted Monday afternoon at the Van Buren Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Sheldon Swaim and the Rev. Edwin Burris officiating. Burial was at Gracelawn cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Young Jeremiah died Saturday at a Van Buren Hospital of injuries sustained October 30, 1962 in a motor scooter-truck collision in Van Buren. He was a student at Van Buren Senior High and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Rita; his paternal grandparents of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and his maternal grandparents of Salisaw, Oklahoma.
